About PTCOG
The Particle Therapy Co-Operative Group (PTCOG), founded in 1985, is a non-profit worldwide organization of scientists and professionals interested in proton, light ion and heavy charged particle radiotherapy.
The mission of PTCOG is to promote science, technology and practical clinical application of particle therapy, with the ultimate goal of improving treatment of cancer to the highest possible standards in radiation therapy.
To serve and accomplish its objectives, PTCOG encourages improved and continuing education and promotes global activities in the field of particle radiation therapy. It supports the organization of dedicated international conferences, including scientific meetings and educational sessions.
